    The Foundation of the Academy

In 1989, Maestro Bryan Poer left the Centro Studi Danza in Sarzana to return to Milan. Two of his students, dancers Giuseppe Gilardi and Lucia Boschi, decided to open their own school thanks to the allocation of a space within the Multi-purpose Centre located inside the former Fruit and Vegetable Market of Sarzana. Once the space was renovated, the two newly qualified teachers brought their project to life—what is now known as the prestigious dance school 4Movimento.
