The term "contemporary" encompasses many influences related to the region, various cultures, and different policies that have encouraged the dance world. In this way, contemporary dance can almost be defined as a mirror of the times, containing elements of street dance, Eastern disciplines, and theatre, which each choreographer expresses in a personal way, creating their own stylistic current.

It begins with the dance play phase, which through concepts of space, energy, and rhythm leads to a complete understanding of the subject, albeit not in professional terms. Enjoyment is open to a wide range of users, welcoming students from preparatory classes up to the 6th grade of courses, and from adult classes.
