Teacher Giuseppe Gilardi
Giuseppe Gilardi studied dance for ten years in Sarzana with Maestro Bryan Poer, formerly a dancer with Maurice Béjart’s company, and with Lorna Wilkinson, who cast him in her performances, offering him, among other roles, that of Drosselmeyer in The Nutcracker.
He took part in workshops with international teachers such as Walter Venditti, Constantin Damianov, and Flora Cushman, who was then director of Béjart’s Mudra school. He danced The Blood of the Poet by Jean Cocteau alongside actor Luca Zingaretti, who provided the spoken narration, with choreography by Bryan Poer. After working in numerous classical and contemporary dance performances, he passed the audition for the Teatro Comunale of Bologna.
For many years, in collaboration with his partner Lucia Boschi, he directed the “4°Movimento” dance school, which trained several internationally renowned dancers.
